Destanee J. Bell is a writer and storyteller dedicated to creating meaningful, relatable stories that center the voices of Black and Brown children. With a background in education and hands-on experience in Title I classrooms, her work is rooted in a deep understanding of how representation shapes confidence, identity, and a love for reading.

Her debut work introduces readers to Hayden Booth —a character created to reflect, affirm, and empower young readers who deserve to see themselves as the main character.
